To Make Our City Become an Ecological Garden A Primary Exploration on the National Ecological Garden City with Shenzhen as an Example

This paper explored the evolvement of theories from landscape city, garden city to ecological garden city from the perspective of culture evolution. It also discussed the significance of standards for the ecological garden city and went to detail about the current standard for ecological garden city. With the Overseas Chinese Town in Shenzhen as an example, this paper illustrated the practice for the planning and construction of ecological garden city, which served as a guidance for the development of ecological garden city.
