Abstract
China has made great achievements in its chain supermarkets during more than ten years. However, our leading enterprises are just like !small boats in international markets. At present, international leading supermarkets are rapidly expanding their networks in our country by means of their world-famous brands and stores, which has great impact on our chain supermarkets. According to the present growth of our chain supermarkets, the paper gives the analysis of gaps between Chinese chain supermarkets and international chain supermarkets in scope of enterprise, expansion of stores, service for customers, management of enterprise and exploitation of human resources, etc. Therefore, we should get a clear understanding of the gaps so as to learn from the advanced ones, shorten the gaps and increase our competitiveness.;
