Abstract

The hypervelocity impact between M/OD(Meteoroid/Orbital Debris)and spacecrafts will produce debris cloud. In this paper numerical simulation methods is used to study the evolution ofλ(Ratio of length and diameter)of the debris cloud, the relationship betweenλand impact conditions and analyze the relationship between particles velocity in the debris cloud and the impact conditions under the given impact velocity.
