Abstract
Objective:To establish a method for simultaneous determination of N,N-dimethylformamide and N,N-dimethylacetamide in air of workplace by capillary gas chromatography. Methods: The samples were separated on strong polar capillary chromatographic column by programmed temperature, then detected by FID with the flow rate of nitrogen at 3.5 ml/min.Results: A good linear relationship was obtained by this method and the lowest detection limit was 0.1 mg/m3.Conclusion: The method is suitable for simultaneous determination of N,N-dimethylformamide and N,N-dimethylacetamide in air of work place.
