Abstract
Water shortage has already become the bottleneck for restraining the sustainable socioeconomic l development in China. As one of the important actions for solving water problem, the reclaimed wastewater utilizations at agriculture in China and overseas were described in this paper. The research advances were discussed from water quality criterion of reclaimed wastewater irrigation, the influences of reclaimed wastewater irrigation on crop growth and soil environment, irrigation techniques and schemes of reclaimed wastewater. Finally, the present problems on reclaimed wastewater irrigation and the future research aspects were analyzed.
