Discussion on Syndrome Differentiation and Disease Differentiation of Chinese Patent Medicine

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the method for rational use of Chinese patent medicine in the clinic,because more and more doctors and patients choose Chinese patent medicine in recent years.METHODS:Reviewed relevant literatures,the characteristics of Chinese patent medicine were analyzed in respect of theory and practice.RESULTSCONCLUSION:In most cases,Chinese patent medicine should be used under the guidance of traditional Chinese medicine theory with syndrome differentiation.With deeply research concerning about traditional Chinese medicine pharmacology and clinical pharmacology of Chinese patent medicine,the description of application with disease differentiation in some of Chinese patent medicine instructions emerges;the application of Chinese patent medicine with disease differentiation according to western medicine theory has become an important method.Combination of two methods distinguishes advantage and characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine and plays the effect of Chinese patent medicine completely.
