Abstract
Objective: To investigate the relationship among homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance(HOMA-IR),blood glucose, body mass index(BMI),waist-to-hip ratio(WHR) and dyslipidema in patients with non alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).Methods: 56 NAFLD patients and 56 matched normal control groups, the level of homeostasis model assessment of HOMA-IR,blood glucose,WHR were measured. Results: HOMA-IR index,BMI,WHR and dyslipidema showed significant difference between NAFLD,and normal groups(P0.05 or P0.01).Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that HOMA-IR and WHR were the independent risk factors affecting. Conclusion: HOMA-IR and WHR can be important risk factors of NAFLD.
