Abstract
Introduction was made to a kind of remote monitoring system based on global system for mobile communication (GSM) network.The hardware included a module TC35,a microcontroller unit MSP430F147,a level-switching circuit,sensors and power supply.The system adopted the microcontroller unit to control the module TC35.In software design AT instructions related to short messages service were encapsulated into the microcontroller unit to control GSM's action.GSM network was used to realize remote monitoring and data transmission.
