Professor Huang Chunlin's Experience of Applying Xian Qi Di Huang Decoction on Treating the Chronic Kidney Disease

Professor Huang Chunlin considers deficiency of the spleen and the kidney qi,retention of dampness and blood stasis as the common pathogenesis of the chronic kidney disease.Therefore he thinks that therapeutic principles of the chronic kidney disease are replenishing qi,invigorating the spleen,tonifying the kidney,removing the dampness and promoting blood circulation.He prescribes in Xian Qi Di Huang Decoction by himself on the base of Bolus of six ingredients including radix rehmanniae,which is applied on treating many kinds of chronic kidney disease and obtains good therapeutic effects.This article preliminarily sums up the clinical experience of applying Xian Qi Di Huang Decoction on treating the chronic kidney disease.
