Abstract
The positivism will be used as the research method to investigate the historic process of the urban development in Zhengzhou in order to summarize the different feature of various phases and explore the fundamental factors and discipline which can directly affect the urban development.Therefore,this paper will provide basis for making the urban development strategy of Zhengzhou.Furthermore,the traffic junction,the status of the capital city of Henan province,the layout of industrial projects and the atmosphere of national macroscopical regulation are the four crucial and long_term driving factors which will greatly influeuce the process of Zhengzhou's construction and urban development.
