Abstract
Based on the spatial analysis function of GIS,this paper integrates USLE to estimate the soil erosion in Zhuxi River watershed.Reasonable methods are adopted to obtain R,L,S,K,C and P factor values. Results show that the annual average soil erosion amount is 1 023.26 t/km2,which is in the classification of low-grade erosion. The areas with medium and higher degree of erosion are key areas, where prevention and control measures should be taken. The paper also analyzes the spatial distribution pattern of soil erosion intensity and the soil erosion under different types of land use.
