Abstract

Sankuan culture cam to Shanghai in Yuan Dynasty.It got more progress during Ming Dynasty.At that time,many Sanguan temples were built in downtown Shanghai.To Qing Dynasty,there was a Sankuan temple in each suburb in Shanghai.This paper analyses the geographical distribution of Sankuan temples during that period according to the historical books and explains the phenomenon that the temples spread from downtown to the country.
