Abstract
Based on a non-isentropic flow prediction of air-dynamics,the correcting k-e turbulence flow model is employed to make the numerical calculation on the air jet flow inside the slot mechanism of drawing. Through the calculation, such parameters are worked out as the discharge length in a jet, slot width in a jet, drawing length, edge distance of the air,jet angle, and according to the result of the experiment and considering such factors as working conditions, the parameters of the interior configuration of the jet are optimized. The calculation results can provide the theoretical foundations for the optimization of the interior configuration of the jet,and show the direction of the research into the improvement of the drawing efficiency and drawing velocity.
