Abstract

Main three types of Tertiary Sedimentary Facies such as braided river delta facies,straight river delta facies and lake facies in the well Sha 6,southwest Qaidam Basin are described and types of sedimentary facies favourable to the generation and accumulation of oil and gas are pointed out on the basis of field investigation and logging data in combination with predecessors’ data.
