Comparative study on the growth of different age of Larix kaempferi and Larix principis-rupprechtii

Abstract

The comparative analysis of the height growth,diameter growth and volume growth in 4?year,8?year,10?year,25?year and 38?year-old Larix kaempferi and Larix principis-rupprechtii was studied.The results indicate:(1) growth of Larix kaempferi excels that of Larix principis-rupprechtii at every stage of forest age;(2) on the whole Larix kaempferi excels Larix principis-rupprechtii;the growth also increases with increasement of the age in height,diameter and volume growth.
