Abstract

A set of horizontal pipeline gas-dust explosion experimental system was developed to research the explosion characters for fuel gas and dust.The experimental system includes horizontal pipeline explosion duct,distribution system,ignition system and pressure test system.Experimental research for secondary explosion of depositional coal dust detonated by gas explosion was performed in the system.With the growing of coal dust density the secondary explosion pressure presents a change rule of initially increases and then decreases.The maximum explosion pressure present at 200g/m3.The explosion pressure decreases with the increasing of coal dust size.The research findings have great guiding meaning on safety in production for coal mine.
