Abstract
In the present study, two kinds of epoxy resin(AG-80 and TDE-86) were mixed together in a proportion, then liquid curing agent with low viscosity was added,an epoxy resin for RTM was obtained.Experimental results indicated that the viscosity of resin system was of 1081MPa·s at 30℃.The cured resin system showed good mechanical properties: the tensile strength reached 73MPa,the tensile modulus reached 1.36GPa,elongation at break reached 6.3%,flexural strength reached 150MPa,flexural modulus reached 3.12GPa,and the glass transition temperature reached 191℃.Experimental results indicate this resin system has low viscosity, excellent mechanical properties and temperature resistance, which can meet the requirements of resin transfer molding.
