Abstract
In order to ensure the safe production of two hard large mining height full-machanized mining face,on the basis of having controlled the law of mining face pressure,ZZ9900/29.5/50 shield hydraulic support was used to control the roof.Due to the two hard characteristics,natural caving,combined with artificial forced caving technology was chosen to control the roof of 8402 large mining height mining face.These measures abtained good technical and economic benefit and provided similiar mining face of Datong Coal Mine Group Company with reliable roof control technology and management experience.
