Abstract
The article analyses the developing history of the towns in the North Xinjiang, and indicates that the towns began about Han Dynasty and accomplished in the later of Qing Dynasty. The center of the towns is developing from Jimushaer to Yili and then to Urumuqi. In the end, the article studies the developing and growings characteristics and on the revelation of the pastoral towns to modern towns.
