Wang Yi-tao is a well-known patriotic poet in Hong Kong who adheres to the realistic principle in his writing.Drawing on his own writing experience,Wang concludes that his writing principle aims to show people the truth,guide people with the good,and give people the beautiful,He views poetry as the very literary form for the true,the good and the beautiful,holding that only by revealing the truth of life,the good of human soul and the beauty of art in his writing can the poet impart life and value to his poems which will transcend time and space.
