Preliminary Report on Introduction of Sabina virginiana in Gansu Loess Plateau

Abstract

Aim at the problem of lack of afforestation tree species of evergreen coniferous in Gansu loess area,seedling planting seeds of Sabina virginiana were introduced from America,experiment of multi-location showed that Sabina virginiana was able to adapt to climate conditions in Gansu Loess Plateau and its growth was normal,mean-while,it showed good fast-growth in afforestation field with relatively favorable site conditions.
