Abstract
Objective To study and discuss the effect of Th2 cells on pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods Some CDs in peripheral blood lymphocytes were detected by flow cytometry and IL 4 and IL 6 levels in plasma by enzyme linked immunoassay.Results Compared with normal control, CD25 + cells ( t = 3.115, P 0.01) and CD19 + cells ( t =2.561, P 0.05) were all elevated in RA patients, which shoeed respectively very significant and significant difference. While the level of CD8 +/CD28 - cells was greatly reduced ( P 0.01). The levels of IL 4 ( t =2.421, P 0.05) and IL 6 ( t =3.156, P 0.01) were higher than those of the control ( t =2.901, P 0.01 ). As to the amount of CD3 + and CD4 + cells, there was no overt difference between the RA patients and the control ( P 0.05).Conclusion The excessive activation of Th2 cell in RA patients is a major performance of their cellular immunoregulation disorder.
