Abstract
Objective To discuss MRI appearance and its clinical application value of tentorial meningiomas. Methods MRI findings of tentorial meningiomas in 8 cases confirmed by pathology were retrospectively analyzed. Results Tentorial meningiomas can occur in any part of the tentorium, having the characteristics of extracerebral tumors; 5 cases under the tentorium cerebelli, 1 case on the tentorium cerebelli, and 2 cases both infratentorium and supratentorium. MRI can accurately determine the tumor location, on or under the tentorium cerebelli and specific parts attached. Conclusion There are MRI appearance characteristics of tentorial meningiomas, It can provide more diagnosis information of tentorial meningiomas with MRI multiple sequence and directional.
