Abstract

Objective:To summarize clinical efficacy and safety of hypolipidemic with Atorvastatin.Methods:136 cases with high blood lipid of outpatient and inpatient treated with 10 mg Atorvastatin quaque nocte for 8 weeks.It was compared between the groups before and after treatment with the indices of total the cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),lower density lipoprotein-cholesterol(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein-cholesterol(HDL-C).Results:After treatment the levels of serum TC(4.30±0.59)mmol/L,TG(1.61±0.60)mmol/L,LDL-C(2.59±0.45)mmol/L in the group were lower than those of before treatment TC(6.07±0.82)mmol/L,TG(2.18±0.65)mmol/L,LDL-C(3.94±0.51)mmol/L.While the level of HDL-C(1.03±0.08)mmol/L was higher than before HDL-C(0.91±0.07)mmol/L.All the indices before and after treatment in cases were statistically significantly different(P0.05).Adverse reactions were mid throughout the process(only 1 example presents blood ALT to elevate mildly).Conclusion:Atorvastatin is safe and effective in the treatment of hyperlipemia.
