Abstract

The concept of new town is interpreted.According to current construction status of new town in our country the new town construction cases in metropolitan areas in England,France,America,Japan as well as Hongkong and Shanghai in China are analyzed.The construction experiences and development trend of new town are introduced in order to provide references for new town construction.
