On Wisdom and Its Contemporary Significance

Philosophers' understandings on wisdom are quite different from our ordinary people's,And Chinese philosophers have their own reflections compared with Western ones.Professor Feng Qi,a contemporary Chinese philosopher,has an original and distinct understanding of wisdom.He not only stresses that wisdom makes humans personality develop in a free and comprehensive way,but also emphasizes that wisdom can only be got by practice.In building a well-to-do society it is quite significant for us to grasp the philosophers',especially Feng Qi's,understandings on wisdom to stick to the value preference of personality in a free and all-round development.
