Abstract

Objective:To study chemical constituents of Gnaphalium affine.Method:The ethyl acetate extract part was separated and purified by silica gel column chromatography and Sephadex LH-20.The compounds isolated chemical structures were identified by their spectral data(1H-NMR,13C-NMR).Result:Nine compounds were isolated from the ethyl acetate extract portion. They were identified as n-tetratriacontanol(1),paoriscabratine(2),glyceryl monopalmitate(3),9,16-dioxo-10,12,14-octadeca-trienoic acid(4),tithoniamide B(5),corchoionol C(6),daucosterol(7),2,3,5,4'-tetrahydtoxysilbene-2-O-β-Dglucopyranoside(8).Conclusion:Compound 3 was isolated from the genus Gnaphalium for the first time and compounds 1,2,4-6,8 were isolated from the family Compositae for the first time.
