The Discussion on Yuan Haowen's Viewpoints to Critical Review of Tao Yuanming

Critical review of Tao Yuanming forms the most important part of Yuan Haowen. Basing on the precedent , Yuan conformed thoroughly Tao's status and value in the history of Chinese poetics. According to the creation of poems in Jin Dynasty, Yuan also wrote poems to learn and imitate Tao's poems in content , rhyme and style. At the same time , he showed whole heartedly admiration to Tao's personality .Yuan summarized aesthetical quality of Tao's poems with 'nature' and 'simplicity' which demonstrated the prime of Tao's poem. Yuan modeled himself on Tao's poem and Tao's aesthetical spirit to build his poetic ideal. Accordingly he evaluated properly poets and works of that time. 
