An Elementary Introduction to the Anti-Cruise Missile Defense and Weapon System Development

Modern cruise missiles have the characteristics of hedgehopping,maneuvering flight,precision guidance,stealth performance and so on.Cruise missile is one of the major threats in future war with its high penetrability, so intercepting cruise missile has become one of the important missions for air missile defense development.According to the need of cruise missile defense,a brief evaluation was made on the feasibility,necessity and technical specification of cruise missile defense.In operations,the approaches and actions of anti-cruise missile weapon systems are discussed.Finally,the trail conditions of anti-cruise missile weapon of USA and Russia are introduced in the paper.
