Government Performance Evaluation in China:Current Situation,Problems and Policy Proposals

As an important tool of government administration,government performance evaluation is attached great importance to by all levels of Chinese government and has also been more widely used.Since government performance evaluation of all levels of Chinese government is in an unfledged stage,all levels of Chinese government's understanding of government performance evaluation is still unclear,all levels of Chinese government's process of government performance evaluation shows great differences,it is necessary to summarize and considerate fundamentally government performance evaluation of all levels of Chinese government.Based on a analysis of the current situation and problems of government performance evaluation of all levels of Chinese government,this paper puts forward several guiding principles and concrete policy proposals of government performance evaluation of all levels of Chinese government so as to promote actively the standardization and scientization of government performance evaluation of all levels of Chinese government.
