On Deng Xiaoping's Ideology of National Security

Abstract
Deng Xiaoping's ideology of national security is an important part of his comprehensive national strategy.Deng's view on national security can be summarized into national interest,economic development,political security,military security and international peace.These five logical levels are in a state of correlation and gradual progression.That is,defending of national security must be based upon national interests;solidarity is gained from economic growth and increase of national strength;political security is safeguarded to realize domestic stability,and military power should be upgraded to oppose strongly to the interference of hegemony and to maintain international peace.
