A Ponder on Humanity Education for College Students

Humanity quality occupies a very important position of all college students' qualities.The goal of humanity education is to cultivate students' humanity quality,which is an important component in modern higher education.In view of the status quo of the Humanity Education,specific countermeasures are discussed to strengthen humanity education.The view is held that the main objective of humanity education is to consummate the individual's mentality,improve their humanity quality,and make people live more consciously,more nobly,and more loftily.However,current college humanity education is still facing the following problems: one-sided pursuit of the practical applicability,one-sided emphasis on professional quality,serious lack of social ethics,and incomplete understanding of humanity education.It is suggested that humane education should be combined with science education,innovation education,humanity environment building,and the improvement of teachers' qualities.
