Abstract

Objective To establish gas chromatographic method for determination of methanol in biological samples. Methods The biological samples including blood, urine and content of stomach were placed in head-space vial, and added sodium chloride and water for gas-liquid equilibrium under 60℃ water-bath for 20 minutes, external standard quantification was used for definite quantitative determination. Results For spiked level of 0.10-1.00mg,the recovery rate of the method was in the range of 94.7%-102%,with the relative standard deviations of 3.5%-6.3%.Conclusion This method is simple, reliable, accurate and suitable for the determination of methanol in biological samples.
