Geological features and genesis of the Gegongnong copper-gold ore deposit,Gongjue County,Tibet

This paper introduced geological features of this copper-gold ore deposit occurring in the Gegongnong coppergold ore district,Gongjue County,Tibet,discussed its relationship with geophysical and geochemical signatures,pointed out that the ore district is in the same belt as the Tibet Yulong porphyry copper-molybdenum ore deposit,with typical planar alteration being distinctive,and that the enriched chalcophile Au,Ag,Cu and Pb elements are sourced from porphyry stocks of different sizes,indicating the potential for further exploration of porphyry copper-gold ore deposit in this area.
