Comparison between Vaginal and Abdominal Hysterectomy in Clinical Application

Objective:To evaluate the clinical effect of non-prolapsed uterus vaginal and abdominal hysterectomy.Methods:Patients with non-prolapsed uterus in obstetric hospitalization in our hospital from January 2005 to December 2008 were observed by dividing into experimental group with 31 cases for vaginal hysterectomy and control group with 30 cases for conventional abdominal hysterectomy.A forward-looking re search was made in the aspects of operation time,intraoperative bleeding,postoperative morbidity,postoperative anal exhaust time,and an average hospital stay in two groups.Results:The operative time,postoperative morbidity,anal exhaust time,postoperative hospitalization days in the vagi nal group were significantly less than those in the abdominal group,with significant difference(P 0.01),except for intraoperative bleeding(P 0.05) between the two groups.Conclusion:Non-prolapsed uterus vaginal hysterectomy is superior to abdominal hysterectomy.
