Abstract
Jian Shu was a historical celebrity, but less was recorded in documents and many questions about him remained vague and unclear. Through inspection and proof, this paper tries to expound and prove his natives place, the time of birth and death, official rank as well as his admonishing the King Qin Mu Gong not to fight the Kingdom Zheng and seeing the two sons off with tears. Also it gives a brief introduction to the later comments.
