Abstract
As the leader of Xueheng School, an important school of the Chinese Cultural Conservatism in the 1930s, Wu Mi cherished the traditional cultural heritages, particularly traditional morality and personality theory. After integrated with the new humanism represented by Babbitt from the United States, he thought that only under the restriction of morality can human nature not take to the extreme, human beings find the point of integration of traditional culture and modern culture and the material civilization and the modern civilization come to a harmonious state. In a word, supported by virtue, one’s internality and externality tend to the ideal harmony.
