Abstract
The security of two kinds of image encryption methods is analyzed, and an improved image encryption algorithm is proposed. Using the high sensitivity to the initial value of the chaos system, an assistant key is imported based on conventional chaotic encryption algorithm. The analyses and the computer simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively resist known-plaintext attack and be easily realized with hardware.
