Abstract

The effects of different water retention treatments such as covering with veil, covering with grass and using water retention preparation are studied. The conclusion obtained is as follows: the SWC was significantly increased by using water retention preparation; the sequence of water retention effect in three kinds of land was old terraced fieldslope fieldnew terraced field; the sequence of water retention effect was covering with veilcovering with grasscheck.
