Abstract

Virtual reality is a new information technology which has been applied in many fields. This paper introduces the features, system class and composition of virtual reality, and key technology of virtual reality is also discussed. Then this paper discusses the web3d technology and its representative technology which is the application of virtual reality in Internet, and present its realize methods and tools, finally, an internet virtual reality system based on VRML and JAVA are also introduced.
