Abstract
This paper summarizes the historical stages of development of corporate governance of China's listed firms and simply evaluates its present situations and then forwards the policy implications on how to improve cor- porate governance of China's listed firms based on the above analysis. It will help the researchers and practition- ers in China to well understand the history and present situation of corporate governance of China's listed firms and inspire them to further research for the policy implications that could facilitate improving corporate 'govern- ance and healthily developing of China's capital market.
