Abstract
Acoustic emission(AE) sensor belongs to low frequency supersonic sensor. The work frequency of piezoelectric element of AE sensor determines its dimension characterstic. So it can't be treated as one-dimension or two-dimension elastomer for analysis.Considering coupling effect within dametral vibration and vertical vibration, making use of difination of apparent elastic coefficient, the frequency equation of short piezoelectric column that contains diameter and length is presented.According to the equation, corresponding piezoelectric element has been made.Through experiment, the testing results conform to theory expect.
