Abstract

Political modernization is the premium to the modernization of the whole Chinese society. Political modernization means the transition of politics and the institution of political power. The contribution of the Revolution of 1911 is evident in that it overthrew the feudal government of the Qing Dynasty——the great barrier to China’s modernization, and it made the first attempt to realize political modernization of China. To a certain extent, it paved the way for the country’s further development in this sphere.
