Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the effect of Zhenqi Zengmian capsules(ZQZM) on immunity deficiency of mice induced by cyclophosphamide.METHODS The experiment model of immunity deficiency was produced by intraperitoneal injection(ip) of cyclophosphamide(CTX) with a dose of 100 mg·kg-1 in mice.The mice were randomly divided into normal control group,immunity deficiency model group,ZQZM treated group(125 mg·kg-1,250 mg·kg-1,500 mg·kg-1) and positive control group(500 mg·kg-1) respectively.The changes of the number of WBC,RBC,blood platelets in peripheral blood,the weight of immune organs,the phagocytosis activity of macrophage,and the proliferation of T lymphocyte in the spleen of mice were observed.RESULTS Compared with model group,ZQZM could increase the amount of WBC and haemoglobin,the weight of immune organs,the phagocytosis activity of macrophage,and the proliferation of T lymphocyte in the model group.CONCLUSION ZQZM could enhance nonspecific immunity and specific immunity,and improve the condition of the immunity deficiency induced by cyclophosphamide in mice with dose dependence.ZQZM has protective effect on the immune function of mice.
