Abstract

Objective To explore the expressions of c-fo s, c-jun in skin cell squamous carcinoma and their relations to the occurrence an d development of the tumor. Methods The expressions of c -fos、c-jun in 60 cases of skin squamous cell carcinoma were detected by im munohistochemical method, and compared them with nomal tissues. Results There were no expressions of c-fos and c-jun in nomal skin. Howe ver, in skin squamous cell carcinoma, the positive rates of c-fos and c-jun were 61.7% and 48.3%,respectively. The expression levels of c-fos and c-ju n were related to the degree of differentiation (P0.05). Upreg ulated expressions of c-fos and c-jun were strongly associated with hig her differentiation. Conclusion The expression levels of c- fos and c-jun may be an index to determine the degree of differentiation.
