Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of enteral nutrition in treatment of severe acute pancreatitis. Methods: 46 severe acute pancreatitis patients received in our hospital 4 years of, 24 patients received enteral nutrition and parenteral nutrition therapy, 22 patients received total parenteral nutrition therapy, the difference between the two groups of patients treatment effect, hospital stay, hospital costs were compared. Results:enteral and parenteral nutrition is economical, which can reduce the occurrence of intestinal disorders, and prove clear curative effect for pancreatitis. Significant improvement has been detected compared with total parenteral nutrition in symptoms and signs, biochemical index of recovery and hospitalization time shortened, and cost of hospitalization was significantly reduced. Conclusion:EN+PN is an important method in the treatment of severe acute pancreatitis.Suitable enteral and parenteral nutrition can reduce the complications in patients with SAP infection and mortality, treatment costs significantly reduced, shorten the length of hospital stay, which is worth the clinical promotion.
