Abstract

Ren(Benevolence) is the core doctrine of Confucian thought and gains much study and various interpretations.The meaning of Ren has been enriched by the times.Modern interpretation of Confucian Doctrine of Ren requires that one should love both himself and others,enlarge one's self-concern to the concern on others and never do to others as you do not wish done on yourself.
