Abstract
Moisture content and biomass distribution of 1,2,3-year Taxus chinensis var.mairei container seedlings were measured and analyzed. The results showed that the biomass of each organ of T.chinensis var.mairei container seedlings increased gradually with age,the biomass of 3-year seedlings was much greater than 1 and 2-year ones, the biomass of organs ordered as following: leaf root stem branch. The biomass of the whole seedling and its organ had close relation with basal diameter(D) and height(H).Moisture content of seedling branch increased firstly and then decreased, that of each organ decreased with age.Moisture content had negative relation with biomass.
