Study on Coal Wall Spalling control Technology of High Cutting Fully Mechanized Coal Mining Face in Thin Base Rock

According to coal wall spalling condition of No. 2011 coal mining face,from a view of the coal properties,geological factors and base rock thickness,the paper analyzed the causes of the serious coal wall spalling. The application of the seam water injection,timely support,enhanced mining face pushing forward speed and other measures would effectively relax the coal wall spalling condition. Based on the problems of the large lump coal in the coal mining face and the treatment required time and others,from a view of the coal cutting technique,a4 + 2coal cutting technique could be applied to control the coal wall spalling. The practice showed that the technology had good effect to prevent and control the coal wall spalling and could provide a new idea to the coal wall spalling prevent technology.
