Survey and analysis of Internet addiction among college students

Abstract
In order to correct the behaviors of some students who are addicted to Internet and to promote their physical and mental health and normal study．a survey has been conducted of 968 students in Hainan Normal University．the results of which indicate that around 9.5％of students have been addictied to Internet．Relevant problems were analysed according to the reasons, purpose,time,and frequency of surfing on Internet．Itˊs showed that Internet addiction is relatively serious and must merit much at- tention．Besides．network addiction has exerted an obvious effect on the physical and mental health as well as the studies of stu- dents．So relevant measures must be taken to change the situation．
